I found a deal where someone is selling his car and selling the FlashPro Unit he had, this is a JDM Civic Type R.

I'm thinking of purchasing the unit but need to know if the JDM FlashPro will work on the EDM Civic Type R?

I ask this because I see the FlashPro unit designed for both cars share the same part number....

Yes, it will work. Make sure the seller unlocks the FlashPro from the car.

Is there a way to check if it is unlocked from previous car without actually having the car present?

Can I just check it with flashpro on my laptop?
