Error code

Hi there,

Today I've updated a new calibration on the ECU (I have changed the header and cat) and did a datalog. Came accross an error that I just don't know what it means.

I've looked/asked around and searched on Google, but still no asnwer ...
I was wondering if you guys could help me out? The code says "U0122 - Unknown DTC". ( The engine light is not on ).
I have attached one of the datalogs from today.

If needed, I can add the calibration file as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It is a communcation failure between the ECU and VSA. Have you disabled the VSA in FlashProManager for an 07+ vehicle?

I just checked the calibration I used and in the "Misc parameters", the "VSA enabled" is checked.
Does it has to be unchecked (not enabled)?

I atttached the calibration if you want to take a look at it.

What is the code on your ECU?

I'm looking at the FlashPro history and the serial number is: FP-SI-US-10538.
Is that what you needed to know?

No, I need to know the number that is on the sticker of your ECU.

This might take a while ... I have never removed the cover for the ecu.
Can I get that code from another place?

That is an 07 Canadian vehicle which does not have VSA.

If your car does not have VSA you must disable the VSA or it will get an error.

You should start with an 06 SI calibration because an 07 Canadian vehicle is the same as an 06 US vehicle.

This is interesting ... Honda dealer sold me the car saying is a 2008, not 2007 model. Hmmm ...

It depends when the car was actually made. For example a car produced during 11/09 or 12/09 would usually be considered a 2010 model. You can see this by looking at the tag on the inside of your door.

The 10th digit in the VIN is the year. 1 would be an 01 and a T would be a 96 and so on. Whatever that digit is is the year of the vehicle.

Are you sure about this? I just flashed my '07 Canadian Civic Si last night, and I noticed under the misc tab that VSA was checked, but I thought that the red dot next to that line meant it wasn't applicable to my car (then I read the instructions...).

Anyways, I flashed using the stock tuned MAF calibration for 2007+, and haven't noticed any problems so far. This can't activate VSA in a 2007 Canadian car that didn't come with the feature can it?

I didn't get any errors when flashing, but should I be checking datalogs for errors? Just to be safe I guess I should flash her again and uncheck the boxes...
