Fueling looks great, still had some pesky knock. Some were on a few 6th gear accelerations, but others were in normal areas. I removed some more timing so we'll see how it looks.

Have you recently filled up with gas somewhere over these last couple revisions? Just curious because we're getting knock in areas we hadn't previously.

Here is the next one.

Gotcha, okay. Just wanted to check since we are seeing knock where we haven’t before.

Keep doing exactly what you're doing. This is why I follow up so we can catch things like this, it's all part of the process.

No problem... Are we still on this same tank of gas from when you filled up the other day? Just curious, the knock is really evident in a few areas. I am having to remove a lot of ignition in a few areas to try to remove it. In some places, 8* of timing removed over normal 91 octane setups. It almost seems like we got some bad gas or at least not 91 octane. I am going to send you the next revision with the changes. The next time you fill up, we might reinspect that prior revision to confirm the knock, and the possibility of bad gas.

Give this one a try and we will see how the knock looks.

It may not be bad gas, but it started happening after the fill up which is why I became curious. Plus I hate to pull a bunch of timing out and leave you with a lack of power because we adjusted for bad gas, if it is in fact. That’s why I made a note on the calibration so we can go back to reinspect the prior calibrations. But for now, run this next calibration until we can verify and fix the issue no matter what it is. We’ll figure it out.

Looks a ton better, it definitely seems like we got some subpar gas on that last fill up. Neither fourth gear pull had any knock with the new gas you got, the one knock was a transient one in second gear.

Let's go back and regroup. Load up Rev11 again and take it or a spin with a fourth gear pull or two. That was right as you filled up and the knock really started coming on. If there is no knock with Rev11 back in, we can pretty much confirm bad fuel and continue finalizing everything for you. Bad gas isn't common with a quality station, but it does happen. That's why I make sure the knock control is active so it can protect the engine as best as possible. I have seen some tunes where knock retard is bypassed, which would really cause issues when you get bad gas.

Anyways, we'll see how it looks with Rev11 back in there and go from there.
