That one looked great. Part throttle trims were great, and the WOT fueling was absolutely dead on throughout the entire pull. Looks like we're there, take this one for a drive and see what you think. I inputted my sport pedal map which changes the relationship from the pedal to the throttle body. Most guys like this pedal map more than my base pedal map in the other files I sent you, but see what you think. The only thing I changed in this one is the pedal map, everything else is the same.

If this one looks good and is knock free, I will have you make a datalog every few days for the next week or so just to make sure it is consistent over multiple days. But take this one for a spin and see if you like the peal map, if not, no big deal. Just let me know. Still make a datalog so I can how everything looks.

Looks really good, WOT fueling is dead on again. Your car is super consistent which is nice. Skunk intake and Hybrid intakes on 8th gens are always the most fun to tune, and seem to make the most power. Had one little knock where you accelerated in third gear at 14mph, so I massaged the ignition there a little. It's an odd place, but still worth addressing.

Do you have time to make a couple more runs? I was running your pulls through the virtual dyno program and I think some cam angle changes up top might make it pull a little stronger to redline. We have to take virtual dyno data with a grain of salt, but might still be worth a shot. If not, we can leave it how it is and I can send you the final version to inspect over the next few days.

Let me know.

Glad you're having fun with it. Some guys get bored on the detail work in the beginning, like I mentioned. And some guys wonder why it can take so many revisions, so I try to feel people out for their interest in this stuff.

Suspension is way more in depth than tuning a bolt on 8th gen. Haha. When the cars are as consistent as yours, it's a lot of fun. When they fueling is inconsistent over multiple datalogs and knock continues to show up, it become taxing. All part of the process though.

Here is the next one. The changes I made are up near 7800 to 8600. The virtual dyno was showing the power falling off up top so I made some changes to hopefully carry the power out to redline as much as possible. Bolt on cars will begin to lay over up top no matter what, but I want to try to get you the best power possible right now. It shows peak power at 7600, which isn't too bad, but if we carry that out a bit it would be good.

Here is the next revision for you. This is the warmest part of the day today, so if you want to wait until it's cooler out that's no problem.

That'll be perfect. That way you can compare apples to apples. If you can make a few third gear pulls on the flattest road you have around you I can compare it with the other datalogs to see if it worked. The ultimate test though is if you're happy with how it feels, that is all that matters. So let me know what you think.

I watched a video on suspension geometry and spring rates one time. I still don't think I've recovered from the strain on my brain. Haha

Will do on the third gear pulls, I just love handling so much, Thats why i love my mugen so much, the revised suspension makes it handling so predictable around the bends.

Yep, 8th gens are a great platform in many regards. I do miss mine on a regular basis.
