Calibration help for race car

I have a stock JDM b18c in a race car that I'm having problems keeping running. It will sit and idle for hours, on the race track it will go about 5 laps and then shut off. It starts right up again no problem and 5 laps later right off again. I have countered this by turning the car off and on when going into the corners, but that's just becoming one more thing to think about and needs to stop. I have been using a stock OBD2 p72 ECU until I can get the car properly tuned with the p28 s300. So what I'm looking for, if at all possible, is a calibration that removes everything non-essential. Any help at all would be amazing thanks guys
