do i need an S100 or the S300

Post by jtkc »

hello

new to tuning and modified imports that need a dyno tune.

i was wondering with the modifications done to my engine, if i need just the S100 or if i need the S300

the platform is a B17a1 in a 1990 Acura Integra LS

here is a list of mods done to the engine

Aspiration - N/A

Air intake - AEM short ram
Throttle Body - Professional Products 65mm
Intake Manifold - Professional Products Whirlwind GSR intake
AEM - High Flow Fuel Rail
Fuel Injectors - Acura RDX 410cc injectors

Head and cams are stock spec

Block
- JE 12.5:1 pistons
- ACL Race series main and rod bearings
- Micro-polished and balanced crankshaft

Exhaust
- no name aftermarket 4-2-1 2 piece header

- OBD1 O2 sensor
- Stock fuel pump
- stock fuel pressure regulator

is this enough information to determine which hondata unit i need for the engine to run properly

i am on a budget and this will be my daily driver, ive been without a car for over 6 months now trying to get this car road worthy. YES of course id love to buy the S300, BUT is it truly necessary for my applications

To use a Hondata system, you will need to use a compatible OBD1 ecu from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html . You can then use the Hondata s100 or s300 depending on what options you want ( http://www.hondata.com/sproducts.html ). I would recommend the s300.
