B18c5 INTO A 1991 CRX questions

Post by Johnnybomber101 »

I have scoured through the forum and I cannot find any answers!

I am going to be putting a b18c5 with factory LSD tranny into a 1991 CRX Si.

These are my performance plans:

Compression up to 11.5 to 1
Individual throttle bodies
Full MSD Ignition to include 6A Box
All internals refreshed
block guard
high pressure oil pump
4-2-1 Exhaust Manifold
Straight Through Muffler
lightweight flywheel
"racing" clutch <- still trying to narrow it down, there are just so many for Honda's!
Stock Type-R Tranny w/LSD

Plus all the frame and suspension work I have already started.

So, how can Hondata help me with tuning this thing and what do I need to get in order to do it? My ultimate goal is to make a seriously snappy N/A Monster that I can reliably drive on the road. I believe this set-up will allow me to do it, I just need help with the tuning.

To use a Hondata system, you will need to use a compatible OBD1 ecu from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html. You can then use the Hondata s100 or s300 depending on what options you want (http://www.hondata.com/sproducts.html). I would recommend the s300.
