Fuel Pressure

Post by gSIr »

Is there any way to compensate for a change in fuel pressure. I added more fuel pressure to compensate for a set of cams I installed, but my map is really hard to tune when it shows the amount of correction needed, I was wondering if there is a way to compensate for an alternate pressure?

If the car was previously tuned and you have now changed the cams, you should get hte car retuned to take full advantage of the new cams as they need mroe timing and have very different fuel needs.

generally speaking, do cams usually need an ignition timing advance or retard. I pulled a few degrees of timing until i finish fine tuning my fuel maps, I'm runnin a 12:1 comp b-series with crower 63402 cams.
