Throttle tip %' values and AFR readings.

Post by 92hb_hb »

Just a quick question about throttle response and throttle tip..

some times when I touch the throttle while driving to speed up , my afr's drop as low as into the 11's depending on how fast it apply the throttle or gas it.. most of the times, it's in the high 12's and low 13's..

How do you tune for this so it stays as close to 14.7 as while driving around in part throttle, such as accelerating from a stop sign or simply just getting up to speed.. If i'm driving a constant speed, the afr's stay relatively at the same point, but it does dip lower when i'm giving it gas..

thanks..

Start adjusting the throttle tip in trim in the fuel trim parameters. You don't want it to alsways stay at 14.7 as that will be to lean when it tips in.
