Well ive decided to turn my hatch into a Full Drag car. i will be running my S300 Ecu
I need to know what is NEEDED for the ECU to properly work.
Everything is going off a relay and fuse board.
I plan to have all wires off the ECU run directly to engine sensors.
Sheilding all sensors to prevent any type of noise going to the ECU.
I know ECU pin A25 is 12v to power the ECU correct?
Pin A23 to chassis Ground...
Are they any other ECU wires that need to have Direct power from the Battery or any othe wires that need a Direct Ground ground to the chassis?
Question about ECU wiring.. for Drag car

well the stock harness is too much of a mess to diagnose when you have a electrical issue.. better to go through the wires goin right off the ECU to the engine.. that rip apart the whole interior and find a issue.
so thats why i was asking hondata what pins are needing the straight 12v and good grounds that way if i come across a problem i know that it was something i did and wont be told to go look over the ground or power source.

go with what the Spunkster said, but if you really want to do that...
get your hands on a honda manual for the car year, and the motor, if it is not the same... and go cut all the wires you think you don't need...
as you said it a drag car, so there are alot of wires you can not use...
but it is really best to leave it if the cars starts and run happy... 8)
