I am fairly new to hondata but have been using platforms like HP tuners and such on LS engines for years now. I have a b20 vtec swapped civic I am switching from e85 back to 91 octane gas. The hondata wide band is in the tri Y collector only reading cyl 1 and 3 currently. I installed by own NgK afx wideband as a double check method at the end of the collector. The hondata reads rich at 13.2 at idle but my wide band is reading so lean it wont register and I have calibrated it a couple times just to make sure. I am fairly certain the hondata one is reading wrong as when idling for a while it keeps reading richer and richer until its reading around 10.5 to 1 which should be making a good amount of smoke out the tailpipe but its not.
If I swap out the sensor for the hondata with another one that is the same is there any calibration needed is my main question?
Should I move the hondata wide band to the end of the collector so it reads all cyl?
Thanks for any help in advance.
Hondata wide band issues and placement
Re: Hondata wide band issues and placement
When you say Hondata wideband, what wideband is this?
