Just picked up a p28 ECU with Hondata s300 v3 installed. I saw it running in the car it came out of, green light and datalogging fine.
Went home and put it in my b18a1 swapped EK, and i'm getting flashing red light when plugged into computer. My car has an obd2 to obd1 jumper harness, and has the proper 2 wire IACV, with the fix into the ecu.
When I put in the p28 the car idles at 1750 rpm, which is better than when I had the pr4 in, which had bad idle surge. I bought the hondata mainly to fix the surge.
I tried plugging it into my desktop, and it says online but still flashing red light.
The soldering doesn't look great, so I plan on getting that redone. But the board was working before I brought it home, so I don't think that is the issue.

- Has 2 wire IACV.
- Flashing red light. It says tune uploaded, but it doesn't actually upload it, car still runs poor.

Re: s300 Red Light Flashing
I attached a picture of the backside of the board. Pretty the soldering is very bad. Will be redoing it asap.

The solder joints are not very good and you may have cold solder joints.
