P28 Already chipped

Post by crxtg »

after searching threads for some time, I havn't found a reliable answer. I have an auto p28 ECU that has been previously socketed that i found in a junkyard. It looks to be in good shape, but I've read that people don't like installing Hondata on previously tampered ECU's. Is it worth sending my ECU to have hondata installed and have it refurbished or should I find a virgin P28 to run my LS/VTEC (b16/18). thank you for any insight. right now im running my LS/VTEC off a chipped p75 with vtec installed.

You can send it, but any time we work on an already socketed ECU, there is a risk that the previous work done was done poorly and damage may be done.
