s300 transmission malfunction

Post by wllwiser9 »

Sorry in advance but I have an automatic trans.
I have a 99 honda prelude base
Installed a p28 ecu with the s300 now I'm getting a blinking D4 meaning there's a trans malfunction but my trans is fine.

Question is how do i delete the code? Obd2 scanner doesn't work anymore and it doesn't come up on the error code on s300
so puzzled on how I can delete codes.

Any advice I appreciate, Thanks

P28 is an OBD1 ecu so you loose OBD2 diagnostics. S300 doesn't support automatic transmissions at all. Put the OEM ecu back in it.

It was working fine for days after the install. And I've seen s300 installed on automatics

This is not recommended or supported by Hondata.
