ID1050x Injectors

Curious what everyone’s been using for ID1050X’s dead times. Tuned running cars not rough basemaps. Mine is tuned using ID1000 dead times supplied within s300 but curious if anyone is running different times.

I'm running ID1000's and just use the preloaded dead times in Hondata, but Injector Dynamics has dead times for the 1050x listed on their site: http://injectordynamics.com/injectors/id1050x/

Scroll to the bottom and click the tab that says "Slope & Offset vs. Pressure".

Those dead times listed on ID’s site are way to low valued. My idle cells would be like 1. She’s idling and runs using the ID1000 dead times supplied via hondata (not what’s on ID’s site). Just curious more than anything

If you are using ID1050x injectors, and the dead times provided by ID for the 1050x's are causing major issues for you, then you have major problems somewhere else in the tune. The dead times ID supplies are very close to perfect, usually requires a very small amount of tweaking for AFR to be the same at running voltage and battery voltage (alt unplugged).

I use ID1050x's, and I'm a career tuner. The dead times in my personal car are below, and I spent several days in different weather conditions verifying they are the best possible: (first value is voltage, second value is dead time)
7.99 - 2.00
10.01 - 1.49
12.04 - 1.15
13.96 - 0.97
15.98 - 0.84

I am running ID1050x as well and when I opened up my calibration to see the values I was using I noticed that my injector size is set to "1000" in the "Current injector size" field. Should I be using "1050" or "1065" as 1065 was the flow rate advertised on ID's site?

If I update the values of the dead time to the values that you're using as well as the value for "Current injector size" to either 1050/1065 would that affect my tune? I am currently using the ID1000 dead times from the quick select pop up menu.

Yes, if you change the latencies to what I am using, it will have a MAJOR impact on the tune. You would need a complete re-tune afterwards.

any chance you can upload a picture of your fuel tables or such? my car runs fine and such as is using the ID1000 deadtimes. when i tried using ID's it was super rich and my fuel values were like 1 or something i cant recall at the moment.

1% duty cycle at idle is totally normal. And not to be confused with fuel table values.
At idle, I'm between 125 and 260 for fuel table values.

My fuel table would be pointless, as we have two completely different motors, and our temp compensations are likely different too
