Wideband Sensor s300

Post by Grigg1 »

Hi

Iam new to the Hondata scene so please forgive.

I would like to get my car setup with a wideband sensor, primarily as it seems to be running too rich atm.
Iam also planning on going boosted and hear that wideband is required for tuning.

I see AEM do a kit inc guage at a cost of around £200.

I have also found the same Bosh sensor they use for £50.

So.... can i run this £50 Bosh sensor into the ECU direct or do i need the full AEM kit.

Thanks in advance

You cannot run just a wideband sensor, as it needs a controller. We recommend the PLX Devices wideband kits.

AEM kit includes more than just the sensor, you need at least a controller that sends 0-5v signal to the ECU as Spunkster said.
