I’m wondering if it’s possible to wire the Garrett Turbo speed sensor output as an analog input that I can then datalog in the Hondata.
From the Garrett documentation the speed sensor will output a square-wave signal at 1/8 the input frequency(originally intended for 8-blade wheel). The input frequency is simply one pulse per blade, as the blades pass by the sensor. The sensor therefore measures the following input frequency (in rpm).
I have a feeling it won’t be possible, but I thought I’d ask.

Re: Garrett Turbo Speed Sensor
I'd convert frequency to voltage using an external circuit. Most are based on the LM2907 chip. There are some converters out there, although the ones my quick search found all claimed to only be for borg warner turbos.

Thank you, I wound up going with this:

I’ll update when I get it, but it seems very promising!
