advanced protection problem...
hi,
i have a S300 on my EK4 ( B16A2 )
I enabled the advanced protection and i have any problem because don't work perfectly.
when i select MAP < 87 kPa AND Analog 1 < 700°C ( EGT ) it works good when the real value are under of this values and the motor cut.
but i select MAP > 87 kPa AND Analog 1 > 700°C ( EGT ) it doesn't works and the motor don't cut so the real values are over of this values !
i don't know why ?!
thanks
Patrice

Re: advanced protection problem...
Post the calibration and a datalog showing the issue.
Re: advanced protection problem...
see the attachments for the calibration ;-)
Re: advanced protection problem...
You have not supplied a datalog showing the issue.
Re: advanced protection problem...
ok i try to do this in the next days .Spunkster wrote:You have not supplied a datalog showing the issue.
Re: advanced protection problem...
i try to do a dataloging and i can see more problems...
Indeed, there are values that do not correspond to those displayed in the display mode!
for my analog input 1 ( EGT ) in the display mode i see the values of the AEM EGT ( 600 - 750°C ) but in the dataloging values they are between -130 / -140° !
So if the ECU sees a negative value (ie below my target) it is normal that the protection is not activated !?
Now why is that?
i can't put the dataloging in attachments, the files are too big !
edit : and i think it worked well before an update !

Re: advanced protection problem...
Either make smaller datalogs, or you can trim them in the graph windows by right clicking and setting new start and end points.

Re: advanced protection problem...
Have you checked the voltage that your EGT is outputting?
Re: advanced protection problem...
The voltage of my EGT is good because in the display of the S300 the values displayed are good and the same of the EGT display !Spunkster wrote:Have you checked the voltage that your EGT is outputting?
If in my EGT display the value is approx. 600°C, on the display of S300 is 600°C +-10 ....
Re: advanced protection problem...
According to the datalog you have posted, it looks like the display for the EGT is reading a neg value at all times.
Re: advanced protection problem...
we are agree for that !Spunkster wrote:According to the datalog you have posted, it looks like the display for the EGT is reading a neg value at all times.
i post 2 news little datalog and video corresponding : ( EGT on display is analog1 )
- data logiciel 230216 : https://youtu.be/OOmXhcfBXS0
- data logiciel 230216-B : https://youtu.be/-xH9m84eJCU
bizzarely, in the datalog my RPM are too low and the speed is not possible because i'm stopped !
hum hum !
Re: advanced protection problem...
Did you trim these datalogs?
Re: advanced protection problem...
No it's 2 datalogs differents at 5 minutes intervals .Spunkster wrote:Did you trim these datalogs?
Must I do re install USB drivers? May be ... ?!
edit : bizzarly, i must to remove a soft on my laptop and i don't see the Hondata s300 in the list of the soft installed !
so i re install Smanager ... i see tomorrow if it's better !
Re: advanced protection problem...
This morning it 's good ! I shall must have a ghost Smanager installed !patrice wrote:No it's 2 datalogs differents at 5 minutes intervals .Spunkster wrote:Did you trim these datalogs?
