SManager, files isssues

Post by RofromNorCal »

Now this might sound dumb but what causes
Engine map Files to become corrupt
for example the car run great at idle on "MAP1"
but when i change Let say the Shift light trigger point (For Example) ....after the car is turn off then upload it "MAP1" With Key On Engine Off
the car runs lean.... or runs rich around 3000.....
and the duty cycles does not chance at idle
Nor did the Fuel map or Timing map change....
it runs say 14.7 at 2% on "MAP1" file
but runs 17.8 at 2% On "MAP1" the only change was Shift light trigger was change and the "MAP1"
was UpLoad to ecu before the car was started up

I know this might me hard to fallow but i want see
what i can find out there....
ill be researching this topic as well
this doesnt happen Intermittent
Ive Notice it happen after I Update the Smangers Software
or maybe i didnt upload the file right

i found to fix the issue is either
A. Erase ECU Command
re-upload and diff. Engine Map file thats Close and retune
B.Erase ECU Command
or Delete Engine map file
and Upload Stock Engine map file That Hondata Provided
and retune
or C. which is just same.
as B
Erase ECU Command
or Delete Engine map file
and Upload Stock Engine map file That Hondata Provided
the upload on top that the File that got corrupt

Hondata S300 v2 setup on
a P05 ECU
on 1998 Acura Integra
Serial Number is 20849

hope this help
and thank you for your support

IT sounds like you are just uploading a partial calibration. Close the program, reope it and upload the entire calibration you wish to use and it should work properly.
