Hey!
Recently bought a s300j for my P72J, sockeded it all up and when i turn the key i get a solid CEL light on the dash but no error codes in the Smanager. So i thought my ECU was bad and cut the J1 in the box to run stock and the car turned up to work just fine with no CEL. I’ve tried to resolder all points with no luck.
There’s one thing that can be wrong and thats when i recived the S300J and didn’t get the AC373 and got a HC373 instead. So i went to the local store and got one.
It’s not my first install of a s300 and i’m not familier with this problem.
Get back as soon as possible!
Br, Jesper
Solid CEL no error code
Re: Solid CEL no error code
Has J4 been removed? What is the serial number of the s300j? From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?
Re: Solid CEL no error code
J4 removed and transferred to J1. Serial no: S300J-2666. Using latest software and i can upload the calibration to the S300 but i get no datalog info.Spunkster wrote:Has J4 been removed? What is the serial number of the s300j? From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?
Re: Solid CEL no error code
Have you tried the s300 on a different ECU? Are you sure it is on all the pins completely?
Re: Solid CEL no error code
It's not like there is that many Japanese ECU's around :/ It's not the ECU, as i wrote i removed J1 just to see if the ECU was the problem. Ye all pins are complete! Could it be the AC373 i bought local, since i got a HC373 with the s300?Spunkster wrote:Have you tried the s300 on a different ECU? Are you sure it is on all the pins completely?
Re: Solid CEL no error code
What dealer did you purchase this through?
Re: Solid CEL no error code
My friend bought it for me when he was in US so i'm not rly sure... Rechecked the ECU today, it's not anything wrong with it or the socketing. As i told you before, it can be the AC373?Spunkster wrote:What dealer did you purchase this through?
Re: Solid CEL no error code
Can't you just sent a new latch? The right one this time...
Re: Solid CEL no error code
Post pictures of the socketing you have done. both top and bottom of the ECU.
