Flex fuel parameters

Post by ketchu13 »

Hello,
I have a bug with the Flex fuel conversion table.
I can't set 0 (volt) in the first table value. The value is reverts back to 5 (volt).
I have tried to use beta version of SManager (v2.2.5 and v2.2.6) and the bug still occurs.

I have also tried to edit the calibration file (skl) with notepad and edit manualy the first voltage value in the conversion table.
I write 0v in the first column of the conversion table.
Calibration.skl edited w/ notepad wrote: [Ethanol Content Compensation]
; Voltage, Comp (%)
0=0, -30
1=1.25, -15
2=2.5, 0
3=5, 20
but when I reload the calibration file in SManager, the value is reverts back to 5v=>

I need a fix ! I need this feature for use with the ECA of zeitronix.

Can you say me please, how long should I wait a bug fix to use this feature correctly ?

I have let the software engineers know and they will get this fixed for the next release.

Thank you for your quick response Spunkster.
I hope the release will be downloadable very soon.

With this future release
Can you confirm please, that I will be able to use negative value in the flex fuel compentation table (Comp %) like this:(in the red circle)

i.e. : If I tune my Fuel maps for use 100% of E85(85% of ethanol in the best cases), this features with the ECA sensor could impoverish my mixture if I use a lower percentage of ethanol ?
