time for a revisit (partially cause I was wrong concerning running tsx curves on a 2 lobe vtec k24a1)......
the knock sensitivity curve for 2 lobe vtec motors seems to be correct after all.
I hooked up a headphone amp to the knock sensor with the .1uf cap and 100k resistor like in this thread https://www.k20a.org/threads/how-to-lis ... ock.27258/ and went for a ride.
I adjusted the timing some and loaded it in low to mid rpm ranges to get a little knock and when i heard a ping in my headphones, i would get knock count.
I wonder if the 3 lobe vtec valvetrain makes a bunch more noise, or if the intake contributes to more noise or the higher power resonating the block makes more noise in those engines that makes the knock sensitivity curves higher.
