stock K24A1 Another noob looking for a base calibration...
Heres an idea for ya where you should be with a pro tune. I know you have an A1, but still.2nd setup (dont ask why, lol)
k24a4 (crv longblock)
stock Civic Si header
stock Civic Si cat
stock Civic Si b pipe (no muffler)
CAI
for those wondering about the drive ratio, there is a different tranny in this car
for reference, this is what a bone stock Civic Si baslines at on this dyno
Though the name of the file is basemap, and thats kinda what it looks like to me as well. I think with either myself or cranny helping you out, you can drastically turn around that datalog and get some gains out of it.
yea but that a2 head makes a huge difference in power.
Take this one for a run and post it up. No 2nd gear pulls like in that datalog. Put it in 3rd, let the RPMs drop, and punch it. Lean protection is enabled just in case. Dont worry about the low VTEC point.

Yes. Thats correct. I noticed a couple pulls in other gears in the log. Just do 3rds for now so I dont have to chop the datalog all up.
As far as what Im doing. The way VTEC was set up you were almost always on the high cam. What I did was a made VTEC only crossover during high load or after 5000rpm. This will keep you on the low cam more. I also added a bunch of fuel as it seemed to be running lean in places.
I also lowered the cam angle on almost the whole low cam as it didnt seem to like the 30deg cam for cruising.
You need to figure out that knock sensor situation as that could be lethal to your motor. Also your cam angle seemed to drop off near the end of the datalog and stay on the 0 cam. This may indicate a problem with your motor so Id have that and the knock sensor problem checked out.
Also try and make this one a bit longer.

I had that problem and then spun a bearing so yea, Id have that checked out ASAP.

Tune your fuel out. I enabled lean protection incase its too lean under full throttle.
Use high octane. Its been tuned for fuel economy and power.
