v1.2.2.4 Won't Change AF Settings

Post by 640k »

When I try changing the Target Lambda in the Settings menu, I cannot change the medium load AF settings from 13.5 to anything else, the settings return to 13.5.

I have also noticed that the KManager will "randomly" close without an error or warning. No events are listed in Event Viewer. It seems to only happen after opening and closing the same datalog.

What operating system are you using? I checked and am not able to reproduce the problem.

XP SP2. I tried it on two different PCs. The laptop I recorded on and my work PC.

I think I can replicate both of the issues.

I am working from a full datalog (drive into work). The datalog is 35.7MB in size and titled "fulll_041707.kdl". I open KManager and then open the datalog, wait for the datalog to finish loading and then attempt to change the AF settings. I click OK and then check the settings and the value was the same before I changed it. I then click on datalog and attempt to open a different datalog (without closing the first one) and KManager closes.

So I guess it has to do with the size of the log.

The settings you are refering to have nothing to do with a datalog or a calibration. You can make changes to the settings with no datalog or calibration even loaded.

I know that. While in a calibration, I attempted to change the settings and it did not work. This was the best way that I could describe to you so that you could repeat the issue.

Its still an issue.

Ok, I think I've clarified the issue a little better. If you make a change to te medium load on the lambda overlay tab in the settings window, and press ENTER to confirm your change instead of clicking OK, the change does not save.

I'm still having problems with the application shutting down without an error on three different PCs. I can't replicate the problem other than what I described below.

The datalog you are trying to view is corrupted in some way. Don't use it if it crashes the software. Try a different datalog.

Fair enough. How about the settings? Those seem to be an issue with or without a log file or calibration.

That is not really a problem as long as you click OK
