I first got K Pro 6 months ago on my stock PNF ECU. The car ran perfect, I was able to leave the immobilizer on with no problems.
I later put a K20A2 cylinder head on my A3 block, ran the K20A2 CAI kal with the immobilizer on, still no problems.
This past week I swapped in a K20A, uploaded the K20A2 ITR Cams JRRH 310cc kal and it wouldn't start. I turned off the immobilizer and now it starts and runs fine.
All three different engines used the same ECU, both times before I was able to leave the immobilizer on, now that I have K20A I have to turn it off, any ideas?
Weird immobilizer problem
Re: Weird immobilizer problem
As far as I know, K20A does not have any immobilizer at the first place...

Re: Weird immobilizer problem
The K20A ECU doesn't have an immobilizer, but my car does. I also used my stock wiring harness.hnx676 wrote:As far as I know, K20A does not have any immobilizer at the first place...
