Daughter board communication error on highway

Post by bonestocklol »

I have an '03 RSX Type S with kpro v2 and until recently I have been able to drive it on the highway at normal speeds. Now, if I go anywhere over 70 mph, the tachometer goes nuts and my car goes into limp mode saying the "daughter board communication error (battery voltage low on startup)" error. The car cranks perfectly fine and runs great otherwise. I don't have any other codes shown besides that one and if I turn my car off and back on it'll run perfectly fine. I inspected everything to see if there was a significant issue and as far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with the connection between the ecu and the daughter board.
