MAP Data log value with Alpha-N

Post by fulken »

Is the MAP data log value actual sensor reading or calculated value with Alpha-N?
Data log MAP value looks like a calculated value from the TPS.

(if the data log is the calculated value), How can I check MAP sensor operation with Alpha-N?

Thanks!

You will not get an actual reading, as it is a hybrid value based on the 2 signals: http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/ma ... tsub=alpha

I'm having the same issue.

My question (which doesn't seem to get answered) is why does this 'MAP trace' look exactly same with the map sensor unplugged??

It also begs the question as to why it's needed etc

And then I'm told to set the throttle open and closed values with the engine off, which don't have any changes. Only with the engine on do these 'MAP values' change with throttle.

Then set the values with the engine running.
