How to connect a MTX-L Plus wideband digitally

Post by AREA876 »

Has anyone connected the Innovate MTX-L Plus wideband digitally to Kpro and if so which of the 4 output wires of the MTX should be used?

I tried connecting my Innovate MTX-L Plus digitally to my Kpro 4 digital input but the readings in Kmanager is not matching my MTX-L Plus gauge,it's way off. Can Hondata advise as I would rather use digital than analog as I have a analog voltage offset of 0.25.

The 0.95 is my Analog input and the 0.46 is my digital as you see they are not matching. The analog input matches my MTX-L gauge.

Is it that something is wrong in the software why the digital input is not matching? Any advice would be appreciated

You have a MTX-L connected as a LC-1 input. The protocol may have changed - I don't know because the MTX-L manual doesn't say what protocol is used, and the serial protocol document was last updated in 2004, before the MTX-L was made.

I've asked Innovate for the protocol.

Innovate has responded but they have not clarified what protocol it used yet (I think it is the same as the LC-1). I also need sample data streams.

It should be the same as the LC-1, but I have no gauge nor sample serial stream.

Still having problem with the Innovate MTX-L Plus wideband connecting digitally, readings on the MTX-L doesn't match the digital input in Hondata.
Here is a datalog of the problem.

You've got it set to LC2. What does it read when set to LC1?
