KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection

Post by extrq__ »

I need your help
Let me explain, I have a kpro V4 with a flexfuel sensor connected to a Honda Civic Type R EP3 2005 K20A. The problem is that when the sensor is plugged it happens that the car is security and flange to 4000tr, and I have no light on the ECU, I deduce that it disconnects. We are 2 to have the same configuration and same problem ... Thanks in advance

You need to have a switch to turn on the flex fuel sensor after the ECU has been powered up.

I'm sorry, I'm French. We connected to the + after contact of the cigar burner. Sometimes no problem, but at other times when restarting, the car is safe and the calculator has no light.

Do not use the cigarette lighter as power for the flex fuel sensor. You should use the fuse box and connect to a location that only has power when the vehicle is running.

Hello, but am I using a switch? a relay? Or I just plug on a + after contact, on the fuse box? Thank you

There should be terminals that you can probe with a multimeter to see if they are switched with the ignition.

You should not need a relay or switch if it is wired correctly.
