I need your help
Let me explain, I have a kpro V4 with a flexfuel sensor connected to a Honda Civic Type R EP3 2005 K20A. The problem is that when the sensor is plugged it happens that the car is security and flange to 4000tr, and I have no light on the ECU, I deduce that it disconnects. We are 2 to have the same configuration and same problem ... Thanks in advance
KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection
Re: KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection
You need to have a switch to turn on the flex fuel sensor after the ECU has been powered up.
Re: KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection
Thank you, we connected to the + after contact of the cigarette lighter.
Re: KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection
Thank you, we have plugged into the after ignition of the cigarette lighter but it does not work.
Re: KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection
I'm sorry, I'm French. We connected to the + after contact of the cigar burner. Sometimes no problem, but at other times when restarting, the car is safe and the calculator has no light.
Re: KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection
Do not use the cigarette lighter as power for the flex fuel sensor. You should use the fuse box and connect to a location that only has power when the vehicle is running.
Re: KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection
Hello, but am I using a switch? a relay? Or I just plug on a + after contact, on the fuse box? Thank you
Re: KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection
There should be terminals that you can probe with a multimeter to see if they are switched with the ignition.
Re: KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection
If I plug on the + after contact the in the fuse box, i still have to install a relay and switch?
Re: KPRO V4 and flexfuel sensor lost connection
You should not need a relay or switch if it is wired correctly.
