Kpro V4 In Safe/ Limp Mode

Post by CJ4A »

Hi Everyone,

I am having an issue with my EP3. I am running an AIM Pista digital dash and it connected to the Kpro using the RS232 connection. When I drive my car it starts to sputter and buck after a certain RPM. When I turn off the ignition and immediately turn it back on, there is a rev limit around 3000 to 4000 rpm. At this point the digital dash receives no signal and the RPM, ECT and O2 readings are all blank. The car drives in safe mode until I turn the ignition off and wait a few minutes. There is one error code from the OEM wideband O2 sensor and the CEL flickers on and off when the car is idling or driving. The car is a UKDM EP3 with a JDM K20A, Kpro V4 and the usual bolt on mods.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Post your calibration and a datalog showing when this happens.

You have 2 different error codes for the o2 sensor and you should try to resolve those first. Second you should try removing the dash from the equation and see if that has any effect. I also never see the TPS go above about 25%.
