The controller is a big issue right now.
The mounting of the gearbox to a kseries as a kit is 100% doable, and quick.
The problem with the controller is that the guys in the uk want some serious TOM upfront. In the region of 15000usd.
I just dont have that kind of money as this is not a money making venture for me. I just like reinventing the wheel. Specifically Honda stuff.
So unless we have 10 customers with a 1500usd down payment, it's not gonna happen soon.
I can get a cheaper controller done quickly but it will be purely flat shifting only, no drivability. That's not my seen.
Let me play the Lottery tomorrow and see if I can help the situation!

We are busy with the controller at present. This is time consuming and expensive.
Anyone who is seriously interested in this conversion (vw dsg fwd gearbox working with k series engine)
You must have hondata system to start with.

We have a controller that works 100% standalone. Needs CAN signals from kpro to function.
Full dsg control like in vw cars.
TC, LC, AUTO MODE,MANUAL MODE, PADDLE SHIFT, THROTTLE BLIP, ENGINE BRAKING, DBW CONTROL, ETC
600nm on stock dsg gearbox with bench flash .
1000NM with dodsons clutches and bench flash.
The adaption kit dsg to k series is also ready.
The kit consists of gearbox to engine adapter plate, custom flywheel and spigot, custom intermediate shaft and bracket.
The dsg gearbox fits EK chassis or any honda chassis that doesnt have a lower subframe .
If your vehicle has a subframe then you will need alter the subframe to make dsg fit.

Not sure what weight you referring to.
The actual adaption kit doesn't add weight.
But the dsg gearbox is about 30kg heavier than honda
Should actually balance out the front of car nicely.

Hi, I race a DC5 with Hondata so I'm keen to go DSG if it works properly for racing?
I also have a lotus exige S1 race track car with VW BWA 2L turbo set up, 445hp with Syvex ecu that we tried running DSG as Syvex said we could do it but had many druma's and the wanted endless data loging so we pulled it out and poped the manual in it and was getting ready to go full dog but might re-think it now if this is for real.
Its got all the updated pressures and maps/full manualised and up rated cooler.
Hope you have some majic for Lotus too?

Bud are you based in SA? ..Guateng? if so did you get this build done?id love to check it out because i want to do something similar with my k24 accord auto,want to do a all wheel conversion with dsg box and turbo.
