No Lambda reading / code P0134

Post by Renko »

No lambda reading / code P0134

In beginning everything was working well for a long time (1.5 Years).
Suddenly from time to time the code P0134 comes up only when the motor was running in idle. I have checked all the wire and relays. Even the Lambda voltage values are ok.
After a while the ECU starts to take more and more time with starting reading de the lambda value.
I replaced the wide Band OEM Lambda 36531-PRB-A01. Same thing.
New setup dyno tuning by a professional tuner and official Hondata Dealer Chip Racing in Switzerland.

After the very successful hill racing weekend the ECU isn’t any more reading the lambda value. Starting engine 14.7, then it stays by 10.7. Do know this kind of problem? Can it be the ECU?

Extreme Hill Race Car EG6 with fully made Motor K24 / K20 Head. Kinsler individual throttle. 360 horsepower.
K-Pro 3 / 4.3.2.0
ECU: 37820-PRB-305 / 2054-100965 0G18

Let me know if you need more information’s?

Thanks for supporting me.

Have you tried the ECU in a known working vehicle?

No, that will be very difficult to find a car.

I would suggest you try that as that will help you narrow down very easily if it is ECU related or something in the vehicle.

Ok, I’ll tray to find a car.....but this is the ECU for an Acura RSX. We do not have such cars in Switzerland. Should it also work with EP3 Euro Version PRA? I don’t think so.

It will work, but you cannot test the o2 function on an EP3 as they do not have a wideband.

To find a right car to test the ECU is almost impossible. Do you have the possibility to test the ECU? If yes, we could go this way and do the update to K-Pro 4. How long do I have to estimate to send the ECU in your house and send it back to Switzerland. How much does it cost.

You could test this in a DC5 Type R to see if it reads correctly. They use the same sensors.

The cost of shipping back and forth will probably make this a very expensive test.

We don't have DC5 in Switzerland. In this case I must have an other possibility to test the ECU
