s2000 kpro, does speed correction change gauge cluster readout?

Post by RAIN H8R »

For the VSS options, S2000 uses a countershaft VSS.
When adjusting the speedometer conversion option. If this is changed to either a + or - value, will the changes be seen in the gauge cluster or only internal kpro parameters for tuning?

I am in the middle of cleaning up/rewiring my ecu area after having my ecu upgraded from kpro2 to kpro4. It is the offseason so I am not able to test this out on the street due to salt/nasty road conditions.

2001 car with an AP2 transmission. I use the Modifry speedo healer to fine tune the speedometer readout in the gauge cluster.

The ECU does not output a VSS signal to the cluster. The cluster gets the VSS signal straight from the VSS sensor.

Hmm, I called an Javier told me it does (before I saw your reply).

I will hold on to my speedo healer until spring when I can test this. But, if you say no then I expect it to do what you say.
