tps

Post by wesinlessin »

is there a difference in the cheaper tps and the more expencive ones?, i ask because i had to replace the stock one on my k20 type r engine because it was broke during shiping and i replaced it with a cheaper one, it is a exiduim ($40) i beleive, and i calabrated it and it works fine for a few days then i get surging idle and it kicks sometimes and i have to adjust it agin, would a more expencive tps like the hybrid racing one work better? thanks

there is a thread about this in k20a.org

oem TPS has qaulity connector dealies inside but crappy ceramic board that brakes from vibration..

all of the after market ones have a nice green board in them but have crappy connectors...hondata needs to make a tps that has a green circuit board and nice connectors..

crappy tps (blox, obx, omni, hybrid racing)
