S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
Looking to wire low/high boost switch on s2000 using Kpro
Low/High Boost switch- Questions
1. Standard 2 prong switch?
2. 1 prong off the switch is T (Tapped/spliced) into A10 connection?
3. 1 prong off the switch goes to ground?
4. Which would be appropriate selection in KManager when wired this way?
a. E16 Power steering pressure switch (GND=off)
b. E29 Service connector switch (GND=on)
c. E22 Brake switch (12V=on)
d. B9 VTEC pressure switch (GND=on)

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
The help file is not helpful, it is why I am posting here.
It make no reference to wiring configuration. I searched each ECU Connectors function and it get nothing that remotely answers my questions above.

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
If you scroll down it will give the S2000 ECU pin equivalents which you asked about.
If you are using an ECU input/output for something else, it an no longer be connected to the original location.

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
If I make the selection in KManager of "E16 Power steering pressure switch (GND=off)"
The corresponding PIN for a s2000 would be A26. Think I got that now.
One pole off the switch should be stripped back and soldered and into A26. The other pole off the switch should be grounded.

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
I'm am looking to add a switch for low/high boost as well, using the E16 pin.
What I'm finding is the E16 pin is putting out 12V. is that normal? Grounding it has Kpro show that the EPS switch is on... so I'm hoping I'm good there.
However, it's doing nothing for my Boost Control. I have my low boost tables all set to 8psi, which is below my wastegate spring pressure.
I have my high boost tables set to various levels.
Datalogs (attached) show that the BC Duty cycle for the low boost is showing 65%. High boost is showing the same. Should there be a difference in BC Duty between the two? I can disconnect my boost controller and get much lower boost levels.

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
You have not posted the calibration these datalogs were made with.

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
My mistake... see attached.
I do realize I have quick spool set to 10psi for 2nd and 3rd has it set to 15psi. Both pulls were done in 2nd.

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
You have quick spool set above the boost you are trying to reach. Please see the help file about setting this up correctly.
Your pressure vs duty cycle table also does not go low enough to handle 8 psi.

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
I changed the settings for quick spool, my boost tables, and the duty cycle reference table... still doesn't work.
I set quick spool to be 10psi, low boost table at 12psi, duty cycle reference table to be 0% at 12psi, 20% at 13.5. Duty Cycle limits between 0-85%. I've attached the updated calibration.
It seems like the switch isn't doing anything at all.
Are my settings still off?

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
Have you made sure you have it connected to the correct pins for the S2000: http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/ecuconnectors.htm

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
It's a kseries ECU.
When I flip the switch for my high boost map, the EPS light displays when I'm datalogging. So, I assume the wiring is correct

Re: S2000 Kpro Low/High Boost
What is the serial umber on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?
