Reflash and DTC code 1166 and 1167

I am getting the reflash for my ep3 and currently have a CEL for my primary o2 sensor. I plan on replacing it very soon, but since I have a raceheader and all, it is my understanding that with this code I should be running rather rich. Though my gas mileage and performance has not changed one bit. Hondata states that with a raceheader and the reflash you may run lean. So I guess what I am asking, should it be safe for a week or so if I run the reflash with a dead primary o2 sensor. I know with k-pro you can just shut it off so I was hoping this would be fine temporarily. Thanks.

We cannot promise safety. If you know it is bad you should replace is ASAP. That is the only way you ecu knows what your AF is and if it cannot read it, it cannot correct for increases in air and it may lean out.
