08 Acura RDX, New Hondata ECU, Immobilizer/Memory Keys Seats

Hi,
I have an 08 RDX with memory seat function where the system is linked to the keys to determine driver settings. Is the memory seat function tied into the ECU?
If I buy a flashed Hondata ECU with the generic VIN, will I lose this feature? The wife is a lot shorter than I am, so memory seats are key.
Also, with the generic VIN programmed into the ECU, does this mean that the Immobilizer is disabled?
