You just came to the right forum to get answers to your question..You can go with the early Hondata S100 or S200 for your OBD0..Piggy backs will cost you more and with a limited scope of tuning..For the bang for the buck standalone ecu specifically for B,D,F,H-serieshondas, I strongly recommend going for the S300 on an OBD1 ecu for a few more extra bucks and be one of the quicker hondas in your locality!
The s100, s200 and s300 will not work with an OBD0 ecu. To use a Hondata system, you will need to use a compatible OBD1 ecu from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html. You can then use the Hondata s100, s200 or s300 depending on what options you want.

You could get yourself the old Hondata stage systems. I had a old stage 3b that I had on a obd0 ecu, worked great. Not using know, but still have the stage system to this day.
