Ok well I tried connecting pin 87 to the power side of the fan and the ground side and still nothing
I tried connecting the other side of the relay to the ECU in case I got the wrong pin and nothing
When I go to test outputs on hondata and check the fan with ignition on nothing happens
What's goin on I don't understand why I can't get this to work it should be very simple
Hondata s300 V3 fan control
Re: Hondata s300 V3 fan control
Spunkster any ideas or advice ? Would be much appreciated
Re: Hondata s300 V3 fan control
I jumped the A12 wire to ground and it activated the fan untill I turned ignition off dose this mean it's the s300 not switching the ground as it should ?
Re: Hondata s300 V3 fan control
It sounds like it is not wired correctly.
Re: Hondata s300 V3 fan control
It is mate A12 to pin 85
All other pins are connected as stock as per your diagram
I tried it connected to the adjacent pin just in case I had it the wrong way round and again nothing
I jumped A12 to ground and got constant fan on so that verifies the connection is sound
I tested continuity from pin 85 to ECU and that's ok what else can I do ?

Re: Hondata s300 V3 fan control
I would recommend that you try the ECU in a known working vehicle that does have this working, as the only other option besides incorrect wiring is a faulty ECU. This will not be an issue with the s300.
