UKDM 5th Gen prelude

Hello all,

I am just in the process of converting my Auto 5th Gen UKDM Prelude to a Manual. I wish to run an aftermarket ecu. I know that the Hondata units are only suitable for a manual transmission.

So once the change is done can i simply plug in a hondata ecu with required harness adapter as if the car was a manual from the factory or is there more work that i would need to do?

As long as you have converted everything , then in theory you just need an OBD2-OBD1 adapter, and OBD1 ECU with s300, but since it is a conversion from an Automatic I have no idea of everything you must change in the car.

Ok thanks. The garage have the car running now still on the auto ecu. so i see no reason why i wouldn't be able to just swop ecu's over.
