ek civic swap b18 obd2->obd1 ecu help

Post by bseriesluver »

i swapped for my 98 civic hb
i used b18b obd2 engine, i used original ewh and mod for iav and iat. then i used obd2 conversion to obd1, i used obd1 p75 ecu with s300, after done everything i start the car, the car runs like sh*t. sound like off timing. then i switched it back to obd2 ecu p2e it sound very nice.

i have checked wire everyday and all the sensor and timing index mark on the timing belt. and keep borrowed friend's ecu swithed it in. it still sound the same like misfire and off timing.

i have did research, i seen lot of ppl got the same prob, but they never got answer yet

is there any trick?

This sounds like you have a problem with your conversion harness from OBD2 to OBD1. We hav enot seen any issues like this on a car with factory wiring.
