OBD2b and tachometer
01 ITR with stock ecu, tach works just fine. same car with p28 and Crome, tach does not work at all. Is this because of the blue wire that is not connected to the dizzy (ending at the drivers side shock tower on 1 side of the clip) ? If this issue is only with Crome and Hondata is not affected by th...

overlapping lines on 2D graph ALWAYS a bad thing?
My engine was fully tuned on a DynoDynamics dyno. We loaded the engine and hit all part throttle columns and rpm rows. Each was tuned for fuel as well as timing. My question is, why do the lines intersect / cross at points? I mean, I know it is because the fuel values are more or less between the tw...

2 wire o2 sensor and obd0 to obd1
when keeping the original 2 wire o2 sensor while running obd1 arises the issue of running new wire and installing a 4 wire o2. On a d16a6 crx tuned with RE 4, will it be ok to simply disable the o2 heater in closed loop options and leave closed loop enabled? If not, will installing the 1k ohm resist...

I understand that. I wanted to make sure that you could wire it in through the O2 soley for open loop though. This is to be used on a car temporarily to street tune. It is a PLX by the way. When I wire it up in my own car permanently with the ELD input, are the resistors supplied with the wideband n...

It is a known bug are there any keyboard shortcuts to change the vales, or an easy way to edit the settings browsing through the program files? Or is autotune more or less useless on RE4? Are there even going to be any updates to fix it since it is a known issue? There haven't been any updates to R...

The Autotune tab is NOT in RE4 Settings
Well, it is listed in the help file and describes it being there, but the tab to change settings for autotune does not exist. RE4>Options>Settings>Autotune Tab does not exist. I am using the latest version 1.0.9.0 It does however exist on SManager. WTF? Did this just get left out by accident or perh...

ELD input vs. o2 input edited for content
I have read countless times that you have to run the wideband ouput signal into the ELD input and disconnect the ELD in order to datalog with the wideband. My question is, in RE 4 it gives you the option to specify o2 or D10 - ELD under the Source for Wideband Lambda Have there been improvements to ...

D16a6 basemap needed. Start with D16z6? No D16a1 map on RE 4
I noticed that SManager has a D16a1 basemap, but RE 4 does not.
Which file would be best to start from for the a6 (non vtec crx motor)?

I believe the other board you are referring to is the knock board, which is NOT present on P28 ecu's. From what I can see, it appears that the missing part on the board you are talking about is a Barometric Pressure sensor (in the upper right corner underneath the S300 board). I have seen a few P28'...

Try and update the driver for it. If I remember correctly, the driver file was put into the Hondata folder that the program was installed to and I had to search that folder for the driver. If that doesn't work, make sure J12 is cut. After that, make sure onboard datalogging is turned off if you are ...

Determine which cell to adjust that is being traced????
I know the basic concepts already. Really, the only thing that I have not found a clear explaination on is which cells to change while tuning partial throttle. Here is an example. Say I need to start fresh and tune all the load columns. I do idle first... Most of the time it is idling in colums 1/2,...
