Re: Knock on shifts

Thx, I agree about ignition advance, and was planning to play with it first on street and after that to test it on dyno to find the best power.

Re: Highway driving on low cam

I tried that, and even in that condition, its in closed loop. When t.pedal is constant, it goes into closed loop. How to keep the car in open loop in this particular case?

Knock on shifts

I was working tonight on my calibration and there is few things that are bothering me. One of them is sometimes, one knock per shift in high rpm. My theory is because ignition is jumping from 19 degrees to 26 on second, and returning back to 19. This value 26 was even bigger, and I tried with reduci...

Re: Highway driving on low cam

True, but this will be for whole closed loop. For all rpm range.

Highway driving on low cam

I have supercharged fn2 (k20z4) with c38-81 charger. I have bov before throttle body, so when Im driving on highway, its not in boost. Bov will be closed only when I press accelerator. I set higher vtec value to 4k rpm because when I drive on highway 125 km/h in 6th gear its around 4k rpm (low cam),...

Ah, that's ok. I had "show boost columns" selected. Thx

Add more resolution for boost?

I have supercharger right now, and boost is going up to 0.8bar. I have boost columns up to 0.7 bar in fuel tables. As you can see on this screenshot, ecu is getting values not only from 16th column, but also for next ones (17th) and I don't see them. http://cloud.mladjan.me/1G1x113z0w2I Im planning ...

Re: Ignition tuning possible problem

It was ignition problem. Added 2 more ignition in these high sections, and changed knock ignition limit to 60, so it doesn't retart anything from my map, and there is no knocks.
Thx to Jerome :)

Ignition tuning possible problem

I have a problem (assuming with ignition timing) in high revs. Car is pulling fine in 2nd gear, but from 3rd it doesn't work well from 7.7k to 8.4k In log, there are multiple examples (this is recorder on track) and one of examples can be seen on 20:45 (also on screenshot bellow). Only difference I ...

Re: Group N map vtec point

You can't just change a number for vtec crossover, you need to change cam angle map too so you prepare cam angle between low and high cam. Maybe that cam angle setup will not be optimum (power wise) for your car, and you should check if there are no knocks after that.

I would like to see rev match on downshifts, like competitors have, and like 10gen TypeR has.

IAT Fuel compensation

I have a problem that my fine tuned WOT in hot conditions (day on dyno) behaved lean on night after that because it was colder 10-20 degrees C. I was leaner sometimes for whole AFR number (from 11.2 to 12.2). I tuned it again (in that colder conditions) but I figured out that I need to fix that by a...

Re: Lambda overlay settings

Hehehe, yes, it is :) Options -> Settings and select Lambda Overlay tab. When you tuning, there is a lambda overlay which can speed up your process on low cam. But on high cam, you are trying to achieve one value on 0-6 col, second value from 7 do 10 col, and another from 10 to X (depending on boost).
