Re: ITB - Atmospheric pressure compensation
i'm not an ITB expert... but: if you would drill holes in every runner behind the throttle body, but there a NPT plug in, put those plugs with a hose together and this to the MAP sensor, you should get the manifold pressure and be able to tune your car with the MAP calibration and not alpha-n. or am...

test YOUR S300 in your friend's ECU, so you know, if it's a S300 problem or an ECU problem.
where is the problem?

Re: Noob question on Injectors
@Spunkster: could you maybe say something on the fuel values? is there any unit? what does that number represent (well, higher number = more fuel is obvious)? is there any way, how to interpret the values, to change the values to opening time in [ms]? would be great, if you could give an answer. bes...

Re: Analog Input for EGT
of course there are.
PLX devices has something which just gives you 0-5V
or
Innovate MXL. new stuff, shall work just fine.
there are some alternative possibilities.

Re: Analog Input for EGT
it's just in the instruction manual in table1 on the right side of the first page. first you have to setup your device to µ. this is Type K thermo couple -200-1300°C. on the bottom of page 2 it says, that the analog output gives 1-5V, where also 0-5V is obtained. so, my solution would be: 1V = -200°...

Re: Analog Input for EGT
OK thank you very much. Which value do I need to put please? OV - 0 5V 5000? http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/settings-analog.gif this depends on your sensor ;) this whole thermo-couple thing isn't as easy as is seems. you need a lot of information, that it'll work properly and show the exact n...

Re: Analog Input for EGT
you have to get a resitor which has the resistance of 250 Ohms and 1% accuracy. this resistor you have to put between terminals 3 and 10. from terminal 3 you go to the ECU. depending on the S300 version you can use the analoge input (V2) or for version1 you can use D10 for example to datalog the occ...

Re: Low Resistance Injectors
if it works in your car... fine... but it's not the usual behavior. the ECU is built from 2 parts, which are parted actually in the middle, where the bar is. the left side, so the side where the connectors are, is the "analog part", so the part where sensor data is "translated" t...

Re: Low Resistance Injectors
without a resitorbox low impedance injectors will damage the ECU or better said the transitors with amplify the signal for the injectors.
due to the low impedance it will suck more current, which will damage those transistors.
worst case (and this is usual): f*cked up ECU.

Re: Hondata prepared Ecu question
you can simple chip any P28/30, that it works with the S300.
the boost options (alternative map sensor, solenoid) are other things, that have to be purchased.
since you have an adapter harness, you can simply use an old ECU. that makes things cheaper.

Re: INNOVATIVE LMX WIDEBAND INSTALL
you can use both outputs.
you can wire the narrowband output to D14 and the wideband to D10.
i have hooked up my LM-2 to D14 via the tuner-harness. some say, that i won't get the whole reading, since D14 shall only read up to 3.8V, but seriously: who needs AF above 16?

there would be a sollution: if hondata would open their datalogging protocol, there would be a possibility, to write an own program for at least data logging which would work via USB with tablets and/or smartphones but will Hondata do that? i'm not quite sure nor I know, what happens, if you plug in...

don't you have a friend with a P28/30, where you could test your S300? or someone with a working S300? that would save some money. if you would live somewhere near me, we could test my S300, which is working properly. to your datalog: any problems with vacuum? some solenoid not connected? some hose ...
