Thank you as well. I'll ask my tuner about the lamda overlay. When I asked him what the numbers were on the grid (I had been expecting a/f and they weren't) he said he wasn't sure :( :?:

Re: AF rich at Vtec crossover

Hi, Vtec set between 5200 t0 5800rpm. AF at low cam about 13.0 and when cross over to high cam, it drops to 11.5 and starts to climb to 13.2 at about 6500 rpm. Is this normal and can we lean out at the crossover? Thanks. I have the same problem (see me earlier post with dyno graph.) Sure hope the a...

I don't know what you worked out but running an untuned civic fuel map on a prelude motor is a bad idea. Not enough fuel for the bigger motor.

Known bug. Will be fixed soonish. I have this same problem with my S100. I've taken to coasting down hills or to a stop. Does the ecu/hondata read an over lean condition? How can a hondata owner find out about the fix? I suppose I'll have to go back to the tuner. Is there an estimated time for rele...

h22a S100 dyno graph

This graph is the product of three tuning sessions. The first was street tuning since the dyno was not available but the next two sessions were on a dyno. The tuning dyno didn't have torque or rpm so I went and ran it on another dyno and this is what I got. http://www.nobooshit.com/pics/Dynojet%2042...

Lift throttle question

When I lift throttle, my a/f gets richer before it gets lien. If I lift, coast and reapply gas, I get a small pop or back fire. Can an s100 p28 be tuned to mirror stock lift throttle lien condition?

nitrous control on wet syst, ignition only?

Will it work to set the fuel enrichment values at zero (no modification to the fuel map) but set ignition retard values to, say, 4?

This is on a direct port h22a with a p28 with S100. As presently tuned, the a/f at 950 psi is between 10.2 and 11.4 depending on gear, rpm and before or after vtec.

You need to go back to your tuner and ask them wtf they were thinking. On my h22a s100 the change over is at 5400 and at first I thought that was high. Maybe they were tuning low cam first and then gona tune high cam but didn't get to it and forgot to lower the xover.

Blueprinted jdm 345s. Also, latter swapped in a stock p13 and the start and idle was fine. I think there may have been an error with the timing. First off, the service connector wasn't jumped and I think that makes getting the right timing difficult. Secondly, the tuner started the tune with a base ...

Hard start after first tune of p28 s100?

I have a fully built NA h22a. Yesterday's first tune was hampered since the dyno wasn't available. My tuner and I made about ten first and second gear passes and then ran out of time. The motor cranks 4 or 5 times before starting and then runs with a rough low idle. We cleaned the IAC (Skunk2 mani,)...

I have this exact same problem with a p28 s100. It is obd1 and I can jumper other ecu's but not this one. Is the datalogging option something specific to Hondata?

Blackcat, what'd you find out?

Thank you for your response. I have been debating the "hard" break-in vs. the "soft" break-in based largely on this article http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm and your response helps sway the decision, though I already have 150 miles on the motor. I have a wideband d...
