Is it safe to say that if the resistors are there that they should be removed? Are there any repercussions to removing them for no reason?

I don't think you'll be able to datalog correctly by wiring it to D14. That input is configured for a 0-1v range, and the PLX wideband output is 0-5v. I haven't been around for a while though, so things may have changed recently.

Have you switched to a 4 wire heated O2 sensor? The PW0 is designed to run the 1 wire O2 sensor, and the P28 wants a 4 wire heated sensor. Is your sensor brand new, or in good condition? Those symptoms sound like an O2 sensor that is not functioning correctly. They sometimes fail, or go outside of t...

Are you using some sort of OBD conversion adapter? If so, a connection for the alternator might be missing.

It does not sound like he wants to use knock control. He simply wants to datalog any knock that the knock sensor detects. It all depends on the output of the knock sensor system you're using. If its within the parameters that the analog input on the P06 operates, then it should be able to datalog no...

Do a bit of research on the world wide web about the wiring of the IAC and your wiring adapter. Its possible that your adapter has not accounted for the fact that there needs to be a connection from 2 different points on the OBD2 side to 1 location on the OBD1 side. The OBD2 cars had the IAC wired u...

Just disable the VTP error code, and set the Vtec point where you want the maps to switch. The ECU will never know the difference.

If you're not extremely careful with heat management when soldering in the 373 chip, you can fry it.

Starting in 1996, Honda moved the IAT sensor on the Civics (Integras too, I think) from the intake manifold to the intake tube between the airbox and the throttle body. If you are using Hondata S300 (or any other form of Hondata OBD1 engine management) the ECU is expecting the IAT to be in the vicin...

Several of those parts, on preliminary inspection, are for the automatic side of the ECU, which are disabled when you convert the ECU to manual. Some of the others are not familiar to me. The C51 and C52 are capacitors that Honda (OEM) and others install when enabling the socket for external memory ...
