Reverting s300 ECU to ROM Socket

A customer bought a used Hondata P28 ECU with the OBD2a connector off of eBay for close to $300 dollars thinking it included the s300 - he was wrong. Since now he cannot afford an s300 board, he asked me to re-chip it - remove the s300 pins and install a socket. Since I don't have an s300 board to t...

s300 Datalogging Header

I prepared a P28 ECU for a customer but did not do the physical installation of the s300 board. After the customer installed and tuned the car, he said everything was fine except when the car hits a bump and the ECU moves due to vibrations. I asked for the ECU with the board installed and when I rem...

? on Datalogging

When I datalog and view the logged AFRs, when RE4 shows '-6' in a cell should I remove '6 units' or '6%' from the fuel value?

Lambda vs AFR in DISPLAY

I want to know if it is possible to display AFRs instead of LAMBDA on the Display Sensors page. I've got all my settings set at AFR but the Display stills shows Lambda.

Can a P05 Converted to P28 run an s300?

I've got a P05 which I converted to a P28 equivalent and it's currently running my LSV on Crome without issue. Since I have a set of ITBs I'd like to control, I purchased an s300 for a 2nd P05 I plan to convert to P28 and want to make sure I won't have an issue since the P05 is not listed as a compa...

Properties on the executable show FILE Version 1.0.3.0, PRODUCT Version 1.1 and RELEASE DATE December 2006. Running under Windows XP SP2 with all patches applied and McAfee Anti-virus version 8.7. This was working fine on the laptop a few months ago and yesterday when I tried to run it I got the err...

Error when loading RE4

RomEditor4.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This is what I get when I start the program. I've got the USB cable, #0032 connected and it shows up properly in device manager.

How can I troubleshoot this issue?

Thanks for the clarification :D

Best ECU for a Hondata S300

Aside form the knock sensor circuitry on the P61, P30 and P72 that the P28 doesn't have, does it really make a difference on which ECU I should install my S300 on?
