Custom "Display target lambda (Shift + F6)" settings for "Display fuel adjustment values (Shift + F5)" so it could be set not only based on presure, but also based on RPMs. Example: Colum 1-4, RPM 0-3500rpm, AF 14,7 Colum 1-4, RPM 3500-4500 rpm, AF 14,0 Colum 1-4, RPM 4500-5000 r...

Re: Kpro experts... Need advice!! (Log & Tune inside)
Hi,
check your fuel maps, car is runing lean. You should be in the 12,8-13,2 A/F area when WOT.
That hessitation you mentioned - that is very lean state - from 2700 to 3400, the rest is just quite lean. You should add around 15% fuel. Best would be to get it to tuner.

Re: vtec setting for k20a2
I am sorry, but you have to learn a bit more about how the K20 works. Have a look at tech section on hondata website. To answer your question: Sound of engine after vtec engaged is dependent on VTC angle. So in order to have the "the same VTEC with sound" as before, then you have to have s...

Re: vtec setting for k20a2
Then, Lower boundary : 4600 @ 90 kpa and Upper boundary :4800 @ 30 kpa should be alright ? What you are missing here is the point of the VTEC window. For cruising you want VTEC to engage high (fuel economy) for example at 6000rpm. For power as soon as High Cam produces best torque (this is differen...

Re: Log+Map Help (02 RSX-S I/H/E/RBC)
Fueling is a mess. Running way too rich for N/A setup (should be around 13). You are running around 11.5 at WOT most of the time (that is just abour right for FI) and even richer after VTEC crossover. Tried to fix it a bit, test it out and do some datalogs (3rd gear pull - 3-4 times and some cruisin...

Re: K20A2 JRSC - step change in AFR?
Why don't you just fix the issue by adding more fuel for colums 8-13 starting from 5800rpm upwards (roughly add +8% in 30&40 High Cam fuel map)? If you do that, does the AFR change to desired target? Duty cycle seems to be fine.
Am I missing something?

Re: vtec setting for k20a2
It's the manifold pressure that I don't understand. Manifold vacuum, or engine vacuum in an internal combustion engine is the difference in air pressure between the engine's intake manifold and Earth's atmosphere. (Wikipedia) The rest is self explaining in the help file, which is under link that Sp...

Test good working TPS off another car if you can, to make sure that it is not faulty TPS.

Re: help with a kal 04 type s
what you think Keto, is the kal looking ok or do I need to modify more. When retarding the ignition for knocks, do I just adjust it when the knock happens or do I adjust it throughout the whole length until the next knock? You have to adjust 20° and 30° IGN maps in the area where knock ocured. In y...

Don't push it too much and use k20a2-civictyper-tuned.kal or even k20a2-civictyper-itrcams-hdr.kal. They are available as standard in K-Manager under New Calibration > Civic Type R (European) PRA.

It seems there is sharp change in IGN in your cal. Post it up. I do not see anything worng with TPS. Did you have your gas pedal all the way down to the metal?

You have to do some datalogs, there is no way to help you without them. Do some 3rd pulls to see what AFR are you getting knocks etc...
