Re: Spark plug gap issue
Oh no, don't tell me it's another misfire thread! Best thing to do is either go back to stock distributor, or go with another brand of coil on plug. I learned to live with my CPR misfire. No matter what I tried, it still misfires.

Re: Dyno tune with wrong injector dead time (lag time)
If the car is misfiring and not starting, the entire tune is NOT right and it's more than just the dead times. If the tuner is telling you that the car is ok and you feel that it's not. Try finding another tuner.

Re: Cpr issues
I knew I wasn't going crazy! Your problem is identical to mine and the other poster. In my case I did change the coils and I got the same hiccup issue. If you read in my earlier posts, I tried and change just about everything. The only thing that made it drive normal was re-installing the stock igni...

Re: SManager software requests
Trying this again. Can we get shift light based on rear wheel speed in each gear? Maybe this feature can be under the traction control.

Re: no spark
Do you have power to the coils? Check for power and ground at the coil terminals.

Re: Cpr issues
Spunkster, do you think that there could be a glich in the sync circuit? There are also others complaining about misfires.

Re: Cpr issues
What is the number stamped on the ECU circuit board inside the ECU? This is not the P28 or P06 code. What timing belts are being used? Are they tensioned with OEM tensioners? Is there any timing belt slap at different rev ranges or when the misfires occur? I would think that if it had something to ...

Re: Cpr issues
And here I thought I was going crazy. I would have to agree with u with the down fall of removing the CPR. When I put my stock ignition setup in, normal driving was perfect; no hiccups whatsoever. But I couldn't get the car to go at WOT so I had no choice but to put the CPR back in. I'm wondering if...

Re: Cpr issues
I have the same exact problem thats pissing me off! It works perfectly with stock ignition setup and gives me a random miss with the CPR. I tried everything. New CPR kit. New OEM dizzy, changed MAP and TPS sensors. Put in stock injectors. Tried 3 different ECUs. Rewired CPR and coils. Changed coils....
