Re: Fan control, turn off??

If you set it to 90C / 110km/h:

As long as the vehicle is below 110 km/h, the fan will turn on at 90C, then off when it drops below 90C.

If the vehicle is over 110 km/h, the fan will turn off.

Re: New S300 User

Hello everyone. I recently picked up a B20 swapped 91 Integra from my friend and it came with S300 installed. Car should be lots of fun once I get it tuned and running correctly. A little about myself, I am a technician for Chevrolet, ASE Master certified and GM World Class so I know my way around ...

Re: TPS not calibrating

Make sure the part of the throttle body that grabs the "ears" on the TPS are not bent. It sounds like the throttle body is not engaging with the TPS properly. Also, make sure there is no old gasket left behind. This would space the TPS out too far away from the part it engages with.

Take a datalog of the issue, then post it along with the calibration file you posted above.

Re: MAP sensor reading funky.

Personally, I would just buy a brand-name MAP sensor with known scaling.

Re: Will Not Rev Over 2500 RPM.

I have noticed that my car will occasionally bug out when uploading a tune. This can be frustrating when in the staging lanes at the track, but here's the best solution I've found to correct the issue. Start with the USB cable unplugged from the laptop. Turn the ignition to the on position. Plug the...

Re: New to Hondas and need help

I agree with Spunkster - a dyno tuning session after the head swap would be ideal. You need to confirm that you have an actual wideband sensor and that the previous owner didn't just install an AFR gauge hooked up to the stock narrowband sensor. Can you post your calibration file and a datalog showi...

Re: Injectors too big?

Which 1000cc injectors are you using? If they are Lucas/Rochester style, I highly recommend upgrading to a name brand EV14/Bosch style injector. They behave MUCH better at idle.

Re: analog inputs

I can help with fuel and oil pressure, as I am logging these through analog inputs. I'm using a 0-150 psi sensor for each, and they list the scaling at 0.5V = 0 psi (0 bar) and 4.5V = 150 psi (10.34 bar). For oil pressure, as an example: Input: Analog 1 Name: Oil Pressure Conversion: Custom Type: Pr...

I'm sure there's a point of diminishing returns - too tight of a gap and it won't help any more. Not sure what point that is though. I know some folks run their gaps down to the mid-teens.

Re: Spark plugs

If you start breaking up as boost comes up, you can try tightening your gap, as it may be blowing out the spark.

Re: Spark plugs

Yep with all the research i did, it seems these plugs are the plugs to go to . I'm wondering what gap will be fine. I wrote down all the gaps and i believe they are at .031 thousandths and i think I'm going to start at .025 clearance and see how it's looking. That's a decent starting point. I have ...

I'm a big fan of using BKR7E's in turbocharged Hondas making power in the range you're looking for. I think you're on the right path.
